Most of us have had a thinning edges at some point, and I am one of those people! I have been on a  journey (slightly over a year now) to regrow my receding hairline that I had damaged due to excessive tension, otherwise known as Traction Alopecia. Three and a half months ago I tried Placent Activ serum for thinning hairline, and now I will share with you my updated results.

In a previous post, I shared details on this hair growth serum, how it works and my outstanding one month results, all of which can be found here.

This is an update to show my 3 month results and important facts and details. Let’s start right away with the result.  I have inserted a gallery to showcase before-and-after images over the last three and a half months.

Should you try Placent Activ to regrow thinning hairline?

The answer is 100% yes! And not, just you hairline, but for the rest of your scalp, too! This product is not another one of those deceitful product that lie about growing 100 inches overnight. Placent Activ restores your maximum growth potential, while minimizing excessive shading. To put it simply, it works and I highly recommend it.

Placent Activ Hair growth Serum

A few important notes

This serum is not designed to work on clinical baldness, and in cases where Alopecia has caused scarring ( shinny areas of prolonged baldness). The serum works on non-scarring hair loss, where hair follicles are still alive, such as stress-induced hair loss (Telogen Effluvium) and mild-moderate Traction Alopecia.

Placent activ is made in Italy. The brand officially launched in Uganda on 27 November, orders and deliveries can be made on 256(0)787560367 thought Uganda.

Finally, the process to regrow damaged edges is a careful process, where one must eliminate all cause of hair loss. Have you tried Placent Activ hair growth Serum to regrow your edges? Share your thoughts and experiences if you have tried it, or hope to try it.

  1. Hi Phelis, great review.
I’d like to know though, do you have to keep using the serum in order to notice results or does it have a long-lasting effect on your hair even if used for a month?

    • Hi Eunice. Thank you 🙂
I used the serum consistently (every 2 days/ 3 times a week) for about 3.5 months.I saw results within one month on my hairline, but continued to use serum for 3 months more. It’s recommended to use serum for at least 3 months. I know it seems like a long time, but you will find the drive :).

Finally, yes the growth you achieve with the serum will remain (the hair wont’t fall out when you stop). I havent used serum since sometime in December and my hair is still intact.
