It’s another product review! This is Thamani Africa Botanicals products reviews. In this rather ambitious review, I will be reviewing Thamani Africa Botanicals’ shampoo, leave-in and butter cream! All the three items you would need for an ordinary wash day. Thamani Africa Botanicals is a local brand; products are made in Uganda and/or Tanzania.
Before product reviews, I use a product multiple times to learn fully how well it works. I have low porosity dense 4c hair. Let’s start with the shampoo.
Thamani sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo

Thamani sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo
This is a sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo. It is a 2-in-1 conditioning shampoo, with key ingredients aloe vera extract and shea oil.
How well it works
I have previously used sulfate-free shampoos, and my issue with them is my scalp and hair do not feel thoroughly clean until about 3 phases of shampooing. Who has time to shampoos 3 times! But THIS SHAMPOO my hair loved it! The best part is I did not need too much shampoo. My hair and scalp felt clean in one wash (I still did a second wash anyway). Because this is a conditioning shampoo, it left my hair soft and fluffy
The verdict
This is a great product, and I will definitely be using this often. It works well and the product itself does not run out fast.
Thamani hydrating hair milk

Thamani hydrating hair milk
This a protein-free leave-in conditioner, with key ingredients East African mountain bamboo, black cumin and flaxseed oil. This leave-in conditioner is cream in a color with a fairly thick consistency.
How well it works
This product left my hair feeling soft and fluffy; it’s got no protein and I am very happy with that. If you decide to use this product by itself, you will need to use a lot of it; however I recommend using it together with the Thamani hair moisture seal buttercreme for best results. I didn’t experience any flaking with this product.
Thamani hair moisture seal buttercreme

Thamani hair moisture seal buttercreme
This buttercream fosters moisture retention for your hair making it soft manageable hair. It is essentially a lotion for your hair. The buttercreme is a white thick cream, with key ingredients are East African bamboo, black cumin and sunflower oil
The buttercreme cream works really with the hydrating hair milk to keep your hair soft and moisturized through the week. I also use this it for re-moisturizing during the week and detangling.
The verdict
This product did not fall below expectations. It worked like charm, and I anticipate these products will now become regulars in my collection.
Now what is a review without photographic evidence? Here is one photo of my hair one freshly washed, and after moisturizing with Thamani products.
